A new direction.

After failing to maintain the "Excursions" section of my website, I am realizing that it would probably be easier to use existing services that more easily provide what I need, instead of trying to implement it all myself. So my new strategy involves the following:
Post travelogues in this blog, instead of webpages that I create.
Post pictures and videos to Picasa/Flickr/Facebook/YouTube/Vimeo instead of my webpages.
(Maybe) Provide links in the Excursions section to the blog entries and multimedia.

We'll see if this works out a little better. I hope so.
